Purpose: This document explains how you can make your data collection appear in Discover search results for other users.
Make your data collection discoverable
1. Publish data
Make sure any data you want to share is in a published version.
2. Grant access
In order for your data collection to appear in Discoverer search results, you must grant Discoverer, Reader, Writer or Owner access. You can do this by individual email or by group.

Note
Discoverer access will not allow an end-user to use or view data inside a data collection. They will need to use the Request access feature to request Reader, Writer, or Owner access.Improve data collection discoverability with metadata
Adding additional information to your data collection can help others find relevent data collections. The following fields can be included when you create or edit your data collection.
- Therapeutic area and Data modality tags
- You can add tags, such as Cardiology or Proteomics, that allow end-users to search with precision.
- Update frequency
- Give others an idea of how often you publish data: Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly.
- Publisher name and email
- Include a Publisher name and Publisher email to let others know who is providing this data. The Publisher email allows others to contact you.
- Logo
- Upload an image to make your data collection stand out.
